I came to this restaurant and it was the worst decision. I ordered a small oxtail and rice and peas($18) …The rice and peas did not have any taste, the oxtails flavour was so off. Tasted nothing like Jamaican style oxtail. No veggies/ side included or offered I had to ... come home and recook and season the oxtail to make it eatable just to not waste me money. And to top it off the lady who was serving was not pleasant at all, her attitude sucks and it spills into the food. If you are looking for authentic Jamaican food, this place isn’t a good representation of that. Read more
Got the Jerk pork lunch, which was well seasoned and tasty, but there were overcooked parts of the meat that were way too hard to chew. Sadly, I had throw out about 15% of the meat because of this, now I'm unsure if it's a regular occurrence or just ... that day. If, or when I return, I will update this post. Read more
Very very disappointed. I've been a customer for a long long time. Used to get nice pieces of meat. Today though, 3 pork dinners, half of the pork was all fat. I don't know why they would even think of serving this. Not one dinner but 3. Alot of weight ... straight in the garbage and money wasted. Read more
The lady that serves the food is completely rude and she lacks any type of customer service. She does not have a pleasant demeanor at all she should be placed in the back and let more pleasant persons attend to customers. I walked in and noticed that they started serving ... new items on the menu and decided to try something other than the jerk pork. I simply asked her if there was pork in the stew peas and the attitude I got from this lady was uncalled for. In the end I realized why she gave me such a nasty attitude because she had to match the food..The Stew Peas is the WORST I have had in all my life. I have never in my life had tomatoes in Stew Peas..it was so nasty and I think they tried to hide the disgusting taste by pouring garlic powder in the food. You could literally taste and feel the grains of garlic in food. I had to throw it out. The jerk pork still remains the best thing of their menu.. Read more
