The Dining Room- The Glenerin Inn And The Spa - Mississauga, Ontario

Last week Sunday, my daughter-in-law and my son had a baby shower here at The Glenerin Inn & Spa. The table setting is very elegant and inviting. We had a great time and lots of joy. Overall, the atmosphere, food, and service were fantastic. Best place for any party!

Hosted bridal shower here. Service was EXCELLENT! Beautiful venue and location. Good food. Lots of compliments post shower. Highly recommend for gatherings! Faye was very good to work with.

Started off slow... As we were planning where to have our small and intimate wedding venue, we were able to visit The Glen Erin Inn by recommendation of a friend. As soon as we stepped inside the Inn, we knew that it would be the perfect venue. The Inn itself is tucked ... away and likely might not be noticed as it is so beautiful and quaint inside and out. We met with Maurizio who was professional, knowledgeable and very easy to work with. Fast forward to the day of our wedding, the room we had chosen for our ceremony was absolutely beautiful as we used one of their recommended vendors to supply chair covers and lanterns. The room was absolutely beautiful!! The same recommended vendor provided the chair covers for the dinner space and with the table settings and flowers it was magical. Working with Randy in catering was a dream come true. Randy and his staff including a wonderful young lady named Alice were so attentive to our needs and requirements and made the entire evening perfect! Cannot thank Randy and his staff enough for their professionalism and guidance throughout. We went with a recommended DJ Service as well and let me tell you with a mixed aged group of guests attending, the DJ could totally feel the vibe and provided music to which guests were up dancing all night. I had my wedding here just 2 weeks ago. Everything went flawlessly for the most part. The venue is extremely beautiful, picturesque and perfect for small weddings under 100 guests. My dream wedding came to life and I couldn’t be happier! Shout out to Maurizio who was helpful during our ... booking process and Faye who was very kind and attentive to our needs and made great suggestions. We had cocktail hour in the outside patio, our ceremony took place in the Evans room and our lunch in the Credit Valley room. All the guests were highly impressed by how gorgeous and stunning the venue was and overall the staff were all very kind. I had also booked an Executive Luxury King Suite since I needed to get ready super early in the morning. This was the biggest suite at the hotel and it crisp, clean, tidy and exactly to my liking. They even put in 2 standing mirrors for me and my bridesmaids. The bathroom was HUGE and the size of the entire suite itself. It was a dream to get ready in as it has a ton of space, nice lighting and was very cozy. There were even tables in the suite for me to set up snacks for my bridesmaids. Just as a heads up, the windows of the suite face the entrance of the Inn so anyone can easily look inside your room and bathroom if you’re not careful. I only had a few small issues with my whole experience. We had a food tasting for the South Asian Menu months before our wedding day. While there wasn’t too much variety between dishes (they all tasted the same, just with different ingredients), we were overall satisfied with the taste and quality during the tasting. However on the day of, the food quality was extremely poor and nothing close to what we had during our tasting. Food had no spices and felt lazily put together. They also left out one of the items from the menu and ignored specific requests we had made. The biggest issue was that the catering staff did not replenish the food in a timely manner. We gave specific instructions way ahead of time to replenish trays when there was 30% left but the staff left it until trays were nearly completely empty. This made guests think we were out of food so they returned to their seats without being fully satisfied. This was SO embarrassing as the hosts - especially as south asians as food is a major part of our culture! I myself as the bride didn’t get a proper plate because trays were empty. We had so much extra cake left over in the kitchen because guests thought it had finished - when in reality, the staff didn’t take it out in a timely manner. This aspect was very disappointing. Despite this, I overall had an amazing wedding day, guests all enjoyed their time and everyone was quite happy with the experience. Read more
