Caffe Demetre - Mississauga, Ontario

We love Demetres, Richmond Hill and decided to try the Mississauga location. Ambiance is similar. There wasn’t a line up so we were seated right away. We ordered a few items, all of which were delicious as always! The only issue was that there was only one server for ... the whole restaurant. It took a while to get water, we had to ask for utensils and more water.. Food is definitely great, but it isn’t cheap either! We love coming here and will keep hitting up our local Demetres! Had a great experience! Of course the food was very sweet, but it's a dessert cafe!! The staff was so sweet and patient (we took a long time to order). Visited Demetres on a busy Friday night around 11:00 PM and was impressed by the lively atmosphere. The service was excellent despite the crowd, with attentive staff buzzing around to cater to families and youths alike. We tried the Caramel Fudge Brownie Cheesecake and Banana Split, and while the cheesecake ... was alright, the Banana Split stole the show with heavenly scoops of ice cream. Portions are XL, so it's advisable to check with the server before ordering, especially for first-time visitors. Amazing place, good vibes, warm ambience, delicious foods and great service❤️❤️ Visited this place with a group of 10 people. The coconut sorbet on Belgian waffle with sliced bananas was a delight to eat. Loved the other desserts that we ordered too. Will surely visit back for more❤️😍

It's one of the busiest dessert places I've been to! I love the interior and atmosphere here, so vibrant and lively. The menu is straight out of Willy Wonka's chocolate factory - loved it!! The staff is mostly young university students who add to the vibe. The portion size is huge, so ... make sure you don't order individual items! Each item can easily be shared amongst 2-3 people. More than the cakes, I like their gourmet ice creams. Very different flavor and texture, too. For chocolate lovers, the options are limited whether you opt for waffles, crepes, sundaes, or parfaits! By limited, I mean these items come with choc brownies, choc ice cream, choc cake and choc cream. It's worth the visit, but definitely not frequent ones if you count those calories 😉 Read more
