Good tasting and well-cooked NY steaks. They keep the fat on their steaks; some like that, some don't. I'm not a fan of tasting oil when eating fries, so that was a turn-off. I suppose they used truffle oil and drizzled some on for the taste. I wish that when restaurants ... say truffle fries, they meant the truffle shavings and some parm, not truffle oil. They aren't afraid of salting the food here either. If you have high blood pressure, let them know. They brought us BBQ sauce as requested, which was good-tasting. They had non-alcoholic beer, so that's a plus. The place was clean, bathrooms included, and you could hear yourself speak. Be aware that people will be cheering sporadically as they're watching sports. I wish I cared about sports because it seems fun. Your typical franchisee pub with decent service (could have been better) the friendliness in the service was missing but overall the usual service, as Jack's was known for friendly and quick service. Food was good. Try their garlic bread. Avoid their cocktails as they seemed not at all strong and ... just too sweet. We had to ask for extra Vodka to make it strong. They have good selection of beers and good venue to watch games (hockey baseball and basketball). Won't be visiting again though coz there are multiple competiting pubs in the downtown Mississauga location which offers great service, food options and value of money. Another typical north american restaurant. Smart food everywhere. We came in for a family dinner. The salmon bowl had sugar and it was too sweet. I think it could be a good place to watch sports matches.

I came here with my family and nephews on a Sunday afternoon after going to the Jurassic World Experience. 4 adults and two 5 year olds. They offered us a table with high top seats which was a bit confusing as we had small children but I asked to speak ... to a manager and we were seated at a regular table which we were happy about. While we waited for our table, my nephews enjoyed the retro arcade area. Our whole experience at this location was pleasant other than the fact that they dimmed the lights considerably at 4:00pm which was bizarre in my opinion. We were still eating and it was too dark to even see our food. It was already a gloomy day outside and the lights being dimmed just made it worse. Other guests around us used their phones flashlight to look at their food as well. Overall, the good was tasty, big portions were offered and based on the food, I would return. Read more

Food was amazing, so was the vibe. Our server Hunter was so helpful and sweet. Definitely coming back and highly recommend eating here!
