Royal Jasmine is hands down one of the best Chinese halal restaurants I’ve tried during my stay in Canada so far. This spot is absolutely amazing and incredibly tasty! To start off, the customer service was beyond exceptional. Ritik, our waiter, was so kind and sweet. We initially didn’t like our ... seating because of the AC, and he pleasantly allowed us to move to a more suitable area. We also requested our hot and sour soup to be made without additional salt, and Ritik was very understanding, ensuring our order was prepared just the way we wanted. Overall, he provided excellent service. Shoutout to him! We started with the hot and sour soup as our appetizer, which was super delicious. It had chicken and some tofu, and the soup was incredibly flavorful, perfect for feeding our whole family. For the main course, we had: Chili Chicken Gravy - The chicken was perfectly cooked, and the gravy was rich and flavorful. Manchurian Gravy - This was another hit, with a perfect balance of spices and textures. Vegetable Fried Rice/White Rice - Both were fantastic accompaniments to the gravies and the fried rice was sooooooo good. Vegetable Chow Mein Noodles - These were good but not the best, as they had a bit too many veggies which somewhat overpowered the noodles. We were absolutely stuffed and thoroughly enjoyed every bite. The flavors were rich and authentic, making it a memorable dining experience. There’s no chicken in the Manchurian chicken dish, just dough. Update: First, this review was posted before we even called you. So that’s why it doesn’t have the full story yet. Second, yes to update the incident you did admit to your mistake, but this is expected as you should admit your mistake. Still ... you did not go above and beyond for your customer, we had to argue with you just to get the cash refund because first we were only offered the same dish the next time we come to the store. Plus, after our dinner was ruined with the incorrect order the manager said the could only refund the incorrect dish, but no voucher or coupon to the restaurant for ruining the dinner. Food is average. Atmosphere can use an upgrade. They should have a sign stating no alcohol is served at front door. Your average Hakka place.

I had been coming to Royal Jasmine for 10 years, but this time went after a years gap. I have to say that food quality has gone down a little bit. Their hot & sour soup and crispy beef used to be my all-time favorite, but this time, they were ... not up to the standards. I was telling my family that this used to be my #1 Hakka Chinese spot, but unfortunately, the quality of food has declined. Their servers were really good in terms of service. Read more
