Despite being a busy day as Mother's Day, they were able to accommodate our little party of 3 without reservation. Food was delicious, staff friendly. A bit slow than expected but it was very busy and you could see the staff running up and down. I ordered a chirascha dinner ... and my only complaint is that the slice of avocado was so tiny! Very friendly staff, drove the kids in the rain to wherever they wanted to go. This place won because they served "karate chicken!" They also had plain fried Udon. Dai Ichi is one of my favourites. I’ve been to this restaurant for dine in and takeout many times over the last few years. Love the Japanese decor. For dine in, I highly recommend the private rooms (accommodates 2-4 people) for more privacy. They have a buzzer at each table ... whenever you want service. Great selection of Japanese and Korean dishes on menu. Food is always fresh and delicious. The service is consistently great. I highly recommend this restaurant! Read more

First visit to Dai Ichi Sushi, and I'm sure not the last! Had a great experience: the sushi/sashimi was excellent, the service was very good, and the atmosphere was quite nice (we had one of the booths which was quite private). Definitely recommended.
