Taco Del Mar - Milton, Ontario

We stopped by during a long drive to grab a bite. We ordered 2 soft tacos and 2 hard tacos to go and we’re on our way. The taste of the tacos is decent, but nothing at all special. The part that bothered us is that we were eating them ... within 3 minutes of buying them, yet the soft tacos were sogged and stuck to the tinfoil, and the hard tacos were completely broken and I ate mine with my fingers from a pile. It was edible and that's it, the place was empty when we came in to get dinner and I understand why after eating the tacos. The lady behind the counter was nice it was the food that wasn't good! I got two steak tacos and hubby got 3 ground ... beef tacos and they were a mess when we got home, and stone cold to the point that I'm convinced the meat was never hot, the steak is shoe leather and the ground beef looked like barf! I remember much better quality and today was a let down, it's pretty sad that the chips and semi warm queso was my favorite part. I had to get a plate so I could eat my burrito on because it fell apart. The ground beef was soaked in oil or juice and ingredients are very cheap and poor quality. I'd consider eating there twice before you stain your clothes and get what that needs cooked in ... all over yourself. The place smells of cheapness but I didn't let that fool me I let the product they serve do that. Good luck to anyone who goes there. Read more

Guacamole, of all Mexican ingredients (!), is a buck extra at this taco joint - and the chick mentions this fact AFTER slopping what was stuck at the bottom of the can of the stuff into your burrito. Chicken portions, wet wiggly jiggly and not very appetizing in ... appearance, are miniscule. Sauces and veggies bulk up your burrito and it ends up being palatable enough...Not the worst of burritos but far from the best. Eight dollars all-in can get you better. TACO DEL MARginal? Read more

Last time we went they were out of ground beef of all things so we walked out without ordering anything. This time we went thinking that couldn't possibly happen twice but this time was worse. We ordered nachos and tacos and they were so low on ground beef that we basically ... got the sloppy soup mess that it leaves behind and they also had NO LETTUCE, and I got the very last scraping of guacamole! Instead of informing us that she was out of some of the more main ingredients she says at the very end when our stuff is 80% prepared already. The absolute icing on the cake was when instead of apologizing like she should she actually laughed at us! We let it go and sit down to what was probably the worse meal I've had. She couldn't have been more careless throwing everything together. The previous review referencing that it compared to her throwing the toppings from across the room couldn't be more accurate.
