McDonald’s - Mill Bay, British Columbia

I live near here. I have gone a few times and every time they mess up, omit a burger or like last time a drink. They never seam to have Sundays, machine is always down. Fries are always soggy mentioned to manager still soggy. It's sad I have to go to ... A&W also noted thier prices to high. $60 for two burgers fries and drinks and apple pie. Watch the 2 apple pie they only give you one. One quartpound with cheese larg fries (only half full) 6 nuggets 2 LG drinks. $41 00. How the hell do they get away with this. I am never going back. Absolutely horrible. I waited as I wanted to be fair, “maybe it was just that one time and the next time I go in it will be better” that’s what I thought. Nope, three times in a row I’ve gone through and received burgers served to me cold on a bun ... that had obviously been sitting out as they were crispy and dry. I get it, McDonald’s isn’t fine dining but the food could at least be fresh and maybe warm if not hot? There’s a McDonald’s in Langford and another in Duncan, if at all possible skip this one and get something else. Read more

I live in mill bay and the only reason I come back is because everything’s closed and I don’t feel like cooking at 11pm, but out of the probably 12 times coming here my meal was cold and mostly missing, ordered 20 nuggets and 2 large fries for my girlfriend ... and myself, checked the top because usually fries are missing, but at the bottom there was only 10 nuggets, and not even 2 minutes later the fries were cold and almost stale as well as the 10 of the 20 nuggets I ordered, definitely going to start meal prepping simply because this place cannot make a correct meal and when they do it’s usually cold. The staff are usually very friendly but a couple of things to mention. More than once I have gone through the drive thru to take food home and items were missing. Usually small items like hash browns but I don't live close by so I usually never go ... back. So, in essence, donating for items you don't receive. When the receipt says 2 hashbrowns and there's only 1 in the bag, it should be an easy catch for the employee to see. The other is the habit of never filling the cup for hot drinks or fries. I get tea or coffee from here and it's always an inch or 2 from the top of the cup. Paying for a large and getting a medium. Even worse with fries. I have gotten home to find the fries weren't even to the top of the front lip of the fry container. So paying for large and getting a medium or small. Someone train these people how to fill these things. It isn't rocket science. $5 for 2 potatoes or less worth of fries is insane! Read more

McDonald’s are always hit or miss, but this place deserves a review, you know when you find a random hard fry at the bottom of the carton? Well how about a large of all that? These things must have been triple fried, absolutely disgusting. Next up was the Big Mac, sure ... glad I felt like being a glutton and ordered a double so I had a double serving of dry tasteless meat, terrible burger.
