Brisket was dry and stringy, ribs were pretty good tho, mac and cheese was decent, tomato cuke is actually just a lettuce salad and not a cucumber salad
Mac and cheese was great!! Cheese steak was lacking on peppers (there was 3 little pieces)but was pretty good. The draft taps where broken but the local beer was good. I dont think they've been open for long but you should give it a try.
A feast of brisket, pulled pork, smoked chicken, St Louis ribs, baked beans, tater tot pie, cucumber-tomato salad, Nashville Hot Wings polished off with cold local beers and margaritas…🍺☀️😎🥃🥇 After moving to Alberta several years ago I asked who had the BEST BBQ?! All the answers came back-Skinny’s! I’ve been a ... huge fan since their old location and now I get to bring my wifey here. First time at new location and overall very good. While visiting here in Medicine Hat we wanted to check out their new location - nicely situated and so "new". Server was right at the front to greet and seat us, and there was ample space with good lighting ... and a casual vibe. Our server was friendly and helpful, we never felt neglected. We ordered the "three and three" combo which was more than enough for two people for $20. Our meat choices were beef brisket, sausage, and St. Louis ribs. The highlight was the brisket, as a fellow pitmaster I know how hard it can be to achieve a tender and juicy brisket but they nailed it! Fork tender and fatty, really good. Could have been smokier for my taste. Sausage was tasty, again I prefer more smoke. Ribs had a nice smoke ring but were not as tender as I would have expected. There were a variety of house made sauces and I liked the coffee flavor the best. It would be nice to have a bolder sweeter sauce option too. Cornbread was really nice too.
