Boston Pizza - Medicine Hat, Alberta

Came here for my birthday this past Monday, was very busy for a Monday (no there wasn’t hockey on lol). I order the triple play great bang for your buck however my chicken was raw, and not just undercooked I mean fully uncooked. Our server was absolutely apologetic went and ... got the entire thing re cooked AND comped it on our bill. Kuddos to our great server and the way this was handled thank you for doing a great job. We went to BP's for a late lunch after doing a bunch of running around and we were hungry! The pub side was almost empty and the service was great, our waitress was friendly and attentive. We had the deep fried dill pickles as an appetizer and shared a large ... pizza that all tasted great. By the time we got home, I was really sick. Then my partner also got sick. It passed quickly, after we were both empty. I called the restaurant and spoke to someone who identified as the manager. He did not have the customer service skills I would expect of a manager. I suggested they check the kitchen because something made us both sick and that was the only place we ate. He went on to tell me how great their kitchen is and they practice safe food handling. When I advised I wasn't looking for a refund, just wanted them to know something was off so they didn't make anyone else sick. Suddenly he was friendly and thanked me. Consistently pleasing. At every BP'S you know what to expect if you've been before. Pleasant service and good food. Tammy in the lounge is a sweetheart. Also you can never go wrong ordering wings!

There is a great consistency with Boston Pizza. The food is always good, the service is kind and attentive, and the atmosphere is always inviting. There's a comfort to that. And, the staff are happy to make the small changes to a dish...in my case, I like more salad instead ... of pasta, and they are happy to do those little, easy things, which I appreciate. My husband and I went for date night on Saturday and even though they were quite busy, the service was incredible!! We had Hailey C for our server and got the bandera bread for a shared app and I got cauliflower crust pepperoni pizza and a chicken Caesar salad and ... my husband got the bolognese lasagna with a slice of garlic bread!
