Don’t waste your money!!! This would be zero stars if I had an option!! Reading the other reviews sounds like I wasn’t the only one that made the mistake of coming to this location!! Have been going to the Teriyaki Experience by my house for 10 plus years, the ... other location in Markham on hi-way 7. Decided to go to this location as I was passing by expecting to get a similar quality in food. Paid $47 for 2 dishes of tasteless food. Paid for extra for veggies and meat but the portion size was small. They don’t measure out portion sizes so they just eye ball it and have no clue what they are giving there customers. I just returned home with my order. I ordered a Pineapple Chicken Teriyaki and the quantity that was given was so small! I've ordered from Teriyaki Experience before and normally they give you the food in a bowl. This time it was in a takeout container and the portion size ... was so little! I am upset as I paid over $16 for it and this is absolutely unacceptable! There was also hardly any chickeb or pineapple in the meal as you can tell by the picture. A great affordable option for healthier food has always been Teriyaki Experience restaurants. Their menu is large enough to offer good variety, and it is common for them to offer seasonal limited-time meals. I have visited over a dozen of their locations in Ontario and Quebec. In most cases, the meats ... are raw and thin enough to be cooked quickly on the hot steel plate. In this location, I have unfortunately had two experiences in which the meat had been previously cooked and became inedible and chewy when it was re-cooked. I ordered GYOZA DUMPLINGs during one of my visits and noticed she re-cooked some that had already been prepared and kept warm on the grill. As a result, they became inedible and disgusting. In general, I like the chain, but I refuse to visit this particular location. You will be sorely disappointed if you do not spend your money elsewhere. Not much meat, the veggies weren't fresh, there was no bean sprouts, and the dumplings were stale. Never had any problems when eating at other locations. Overall not terrible food, but I probably won't return tbh.
