We’ve been coming here for a while since before pandemic and used to be our go to spot - quality of the fish has gone down a bit, isn’t as fresh as before. What makes me leave this review now is we came today to get 2 sashimi rice bowls ... for take out. It’s understanding to be busy on a weekend, but we waited 45 minutes for our food. We saw several platters get done before our bowls just go into the fridge. And when they gave us our food they just handed it to us, didn’t even apologize for the long wait. Although this spot is closest to where we live we probably won’t come back, there are lots of great options elsewhere in Markham that have better customer service and management. Read more
Great value for the price! The fish is also relatively tasty for being a cheaper take-out spot. The salmon was good but the other fish were noticeably less fresh and more "watered down" tasting.
Enjoyed our assorted platter (takeout). Fish was fresh and maki rolls were tasty. Cash only for platters.
This is my 3rd time getting sushi from this location. I've tried their Richmond Hill location twice before as well. Beware that this review is for VEGETARIAN rolls only! Excellent value, especially in 2024. I ordered 5 rolls, which came with 50 pieces and I Pais $35.55 including tax (see picture). Best part ... is the veggies to rice ratio - they keep veggies more and rice at a reasonable quantity, which is how it ought to be! Food was ready quickly when I dined in a la carte, and takeout is ready at the time they specify. I salute the staff there because they all look like they are working hard behind those counters!
