Although it was late at night, the place was packed full. We came for the first time craving some desserts and we loved all the items we got. The mango pomelo sago with rice balls wasn’t too sweet and had many pieces of fresh mango. We also got two of ... the Hong Kong style shaved ice, one with the milk tea base and the other with the matcha base. Both were refreshing and came with a choice of three toppings. They were very generous with the toppings, and the red bean was “real” red bean rather than just a paste. The cheung fun (rice rolls) and the popcorn chicken were also very delicious. A restaurant worth visiting again and again. Their clay pot rice is famously delicious, well worth the 20-minute wait. Feel free to choose any dessert; they’re all tasty. Be prepared to queue and wait for a table during meal times. My favorite in winter is walnut paste mixed with sesame ... paste: rich and nutty! For snacks, you must try the crispy salted chicken and garlic-flavored bones. Nice dessert place located in First Markham Place plaza, serving a wide range of drinks, dessert, and snacks. The food is flavorful, and the price is reasonable. It's a great spot to grab hot drinks and dessert in wintertime. The service is quick.
