Typical HK style cafe. Food quality and price is average. The $6.99 pork chop rice is definitely a deal and is not bad. However the $4.99 boiled veggie is tiny.
I was initially going to give a much higher rating based on the portion and the value of their meal. Taste was average, I'd personally prefer the soup and the onion sauce to be a tad sweet but that's just my personally preference. You get this deal for $6.99 from ... 11am to 10pm. Comes with soup and a drink. I added extra (~$2.3) for the red bean drink and this is why the rating is only a one star. The red bean was sour, it must have went bad. I told the server and i ordered another drink (honey with lemon (hot)), and the server said I still need to add extra for it. Not sure if the server was implying I said the red bean was sour in order to get another drink/meal for free. I may go back to try other items. But I will for sure NOT order the same drink again. Macau style family restaurant. Baked spaghetti and rice dishes, Special of the day (pork chop) was well worth the price. Mock shark fin soup was mostly vegetable flavour. A different style of food and family oriented. Lots of different items not seen on other menus.
We frequent this place for brunch or late lunch. Food is good with big portions and service is not that bad. I frequently ordered guilin rice noodles with minced pork and bamboo shoots, baked pork on spaghetti noodles, garoupa with bitter melon on spaghetti as they have become my favorites. I ... always end up leaving half of my order for take home. Food is filling and tasty. Coffee is good. We have tried those french toast bits - not a fan. I was expecting something better.
