Sweet Note - Markham, Ontario

Decor: Simple, adorable cafe with tables for dining-in and some high-top seating. Good lighting for reading/studying. Food: The souffle will take 20ish minutes. The baked Alaska took about ten. Both were yummy, but the portions are not for the weak of heart. Chocolate souffle was rich and very flavourful without being ... overly sweet. Texture was delightful. The baked Alaska was a read bland, but very light and fluffy. Green tea latte and mocha were alright. They also have macaron, cakes, and cupcakes but we didn't have those... Would come back to try. Love this place! We had the chocolate souffle which takes awhile as it is made to order and it was delicious and we also had the baked Alaska with the lychee ice cream inside. I really enjoyed the baked Alaska! I have also had the creme brulee. I think the ... prices are a little bit high but it is definitely worth a try! Also, they are closed on Tuesdays. Read more

Solid desserts. Super friendly and helpful staff. Eat-in and take-out menus differ. Souffles take 30 min, lava cakes take 15. Free parking and not too busy.

Servers were super nice, above and beyond what you would expect. Atmosphere was delightfull. I had a hazelnut cupcake and it was very good. The only bad thing I have to say is it has a limited selection. But well worth trying what they do have.
