A & W - Markham, Ontario

A&W markville Mall, please tell me this is a joke! Order sweet potato fries and came home found this! Are you kidding me? $5 dollars something for this?!

Kudos to the new manager!!! The gentleman in the front is really making sure about the quality of food and service. I love his positive energy and how carefully he checks, supervises and gives out the orders. I now have started getting good fresh food quick and I will thank the new ... gentlemen for this. Update -even worse this time around with food that isn't made fresh. Got a cold burger. Normally A and W is known for fresh food. What a disappointment. Avoid this location. Subpar A&W location. Food is less fresh than other locations because the front workers are so unprofessional. They are ... always joking around. Although the kitchen keeps up with the orders, the front keeps messing around and they have the fresh items like fries sitting on the window til it gets cold when it's actually served. Waited 15 min for my food. And another 10 in line even tho there was minimal line. Completely unacceptable. This location needs some help and training. It is a stain on an otherwise great chain. We ordered a papa burger combo and a beyond meat combo. The papa combo was ok. The patty of the beyond meat was not fresh and was also burnt, you can clearly tell that it was from last night then was reheated to be served. The ... patty was dry and hard, I was literally gagging on it when I attempted to swallow it. The lettuce on my burger was also somewhat rusty but since I was hungry and at home, I couldn’t return it. I am disappointed and won’t be returning to this location again; this is the first time I’ve been served a burger patty from an A&W location that wasn’t fresh, was bitter and hard. Was doing a family takeout night at markville and saw the ad showing on the monitor for the ‘56 burger, which I wanted to try, so I came here as it looked good The patties were juicy and the buns soaked up the sauce nicely. I find that making combos at ... a&w quite pricey, so I went for the basic root beer and fries. Always have to have a root beer when coming to a&w, cuz it’s a&w! Service was quick as i put the order through fairly quickly and only waited a couple mins before my order was done. I was the first in line so that could’ve made the difference. But order was executed properly, which was nice. Great job overall! Read more
