The Owl - Markham, Ontario

Went here as part of a workplace get-together. We reserved the rooftop patio for our visit. The staff were very amiable, the food and drinks were delicious and fresh, and the space was clean and vibrant! The rooftop is quite spacious and patio umbrellas to sit under in case it ... rains. Had a birthday party class reunion at the owl. Owner manager and staff were amazing 🤩. The food was perfect. Definitely a great place to hang out with friends. 😀

Service provided was good. Location good, been coming to this location often enough with different groups. Always leave happy. Always recommend this location as it's easy to get to and they cater both in and outdoors. Food was acceptable and good for price. No complaints here.

I ordered a pickup order with the “Firkin Burger” it was absolutely amazing, the burger was cooked to perfection, the toppings weren’t over powering and were just right! The bacon was cooked just right for me and covered the whole burger so there was never a bite without bacon. The burger sauce ... was not too strong and not too weak in flavour, it added just the right amount of flavour. I ordered the Parmesan truffle fries with the burger and they are some of the best fries I’ve ever had, every fried seasoned the same as the last, a nice crunch on the outside but smooth on the inside! 10/10 will definitely come back Read more

My buddies and I have been coming to The Owl for over 15 years (multiple times per week when we were young and single, and maybe once per month now that we have families and other priorities). Food-wise, it’s pretty good. It’s your standard pub fare + a few extra choices ... you don’t often see. Good beer selection as well. (They have a chicken fajita that I highly recommend) What really brings us back is the service. Service is friendly and any regular can tell you that Baski is has been there forever and is just one of the most wonderful human beings you’ll ever have the pleasure to meet. Read more
