Decent quality pork bone soup with lots of meat on the bones. Spice level is customizable. Chicken and beef bulgogi are tender with lots of flavour. Would prefer purple grain rice which is even served in the food court vs white steamed rice. Only offered 3 sides which were mediocre.
Visited during the week. We have been to other locations, so we knew what to expect. Service is friendly and efficient. Downside is how tight it felt in there in terms of the table/seating. Definitely outdated and might benefit froma makeover but aside from that food was good. Nothing spectacular ... but very filling and i'd say good value. I ordered the kamjatang with beef dumplings and my husband ordered the original. overall, OK, if im feeling for no fuss korean food and im within the area, I would probably visit again. Read more
After having lunch here. I spent the rest of my days wishing I hadn't. Food I think was very off, the beef dish I had tasted ok at the time but later I would regret it. The service however is very good. I won't diminish stars because they still try. I would just like ... to have it aware. Out of all the reviews I do, and the quality of food I look for this fell very very short out of expecting aspects. Please, do not use spoiled beef. Read more
Food is very delicious. The pork bone soup (gamjatang) is very flavourful, but not spicy. I would ask for spicy, but it already had plenty of flavour. The meat takes a little bit of angle work, but it is so tender off the bones. They bring over a few of ... the side dishes, and the seaweed one was new to me, and had a nice flavour. The signature pork bone soup is definitely delicious, the bowl of rice is only about 70% full. The side dishes are in lower quality than other Korean restaurants at the same price level. Minimum service received. The pork bone soup is 16.99, after tax and tips is $22 something.
