Came here for a weekend lunch. We got the half duck set (I believe called the "standard" on the menu) which I thought was very nice. The duck was very nice, with crispy skin and tender meat. I liked how the wrappers were served separated by paper. The rest of the ... menu was fine, we got the baby cabbage in soup dish which had nice flavour but the cabbage was a bit undercooked. The rolled meat pie and stir fry beef were good but standard. Also tried the stir fry cabbage which had great flavour but was quite oily. Service was great and attentive. Peking duck is good, I like it how they especially sliced out the few fattiest pieces to highlight the dish. Platting maybe could of been better. The overall taste of other dishes are good as well. First time trying Peking duck at this Dayali location. Service was really good, they give you recommendations, and told us that we could upgrade to private room if we ordered $350. Even though we ended up didn’t ordered that much, but they won’t give you a face. Food was great, ... the duck was great. The standard portion is actually enough to feed 9 of us. I am just a little disappointed of the Squirrel Fish, the fish was so small. But, their Sautéed Mince Pork Meat Pie (6003), they made freshly per order, it was SO GOOD, very tasty!! We also like their Baby Cabbage with Soup, we drank all the soup!! Me and my friend said we will come back to try their handmade dumplings next time. Read more

We came here for the Beijing Roast Duck, but left really happy knowing that this place as so many delicious options that work for all different palates. Besides the normal fare you would expect we really enjoyed the Sweet Potato with Salted Egg Yolk. It was the first ... time seeing it and we couldn’t pass up an item with salted egg yolk. Would highly recommend! We got here early on a weekday and found a table easily. However, all tables were full by the time we left around 7pm. This place is popular! The food and service has improved since reopening. The food especially is more tasty and complex compared to when it first opened. They have added many new dishes and removed old ones.
