Best Sushi in Markham and surrounding area.. Good service and prices.. Been coming here for over 10 yrs and haven’t ever been disappointed..

Been going here for a few years for dine-in & take-out. Sushi is fresh and taste delicious. The restaurant is clean and organized. The service is great because of one guy (maybe the owner or manager). He is always friendly and engages in pleasantries. The rest of the staff aren't ... friendly. I feel badly for the other people who had negative experiences here but I've gone atleast 3 times now each time was a very positive experience. They really do have amazing sushi. I always go for the all you can eat and it's definitely worth it for the price. My ... go to is the salmon sushi and the shrimp tempura, they never disappoint. The service isn't THAT great but I'm not too picky with that, as long as they bring me the correct drink I order,which they do, and the correct sushi I order, which they do, then I'm happy! Sushi is oooookkkaaaay.... too much rice for the all you can eat. Some items never came; not sure why (maybe they ran out? it's expensive?) despite ordering it a few times - and the quantities aren't a lot either; nor were they hard to prepare - imitation crab sticks ... sashimi for goodness sake. The cooked food is ok. The udon and the cooked meat was pretty tasty. Wouldn't come here again for the AYCE IMO. The a la carte is ok otherwise. Read more

If this rating were based just on the food, it would be 4 stars, because the sushi itself is actually decent. The prices are just about the limit of what you would pay for this sushi. Here's the problem with this place: THE STAFF. Apparently, this staff thinks customers deserve to be 1) ... Ignored 2) Spoken to in a rude manner 3) Stolen from. Here's a tip. Pay cash. I've had my debit card hacked twice when paying from this place in person!! There's only one server there who seems like he gives a damn.
