369 Shanghai Dimsum - Markham, Ontario

Came here with some co-worker for lunch. This is what I consider to be real Chinese food. The server and the owner was also nice to give us a new dish of fried popcorn chicken. All the dishes good. My highlights were the fried rice, hot and sour soup, also ... the chilli dumplings. I honestly got taken away with trying the food, before taking a photo, but all the dishes were great. Read more

Came for pot stockers and dim sum. The pork dumplings fell apart the dough was too soft. General tso chicken had good taste but we found a grocery sticker on peppers... Were they washed?

It was raining tonight so it was very quiet at 7 pm. We weren't very hungry so we ordered a light meal. Braised Sliced Bran and Mushroom 4/ 5 it is a cold dish but very flavorful Freshly Steamed Juicy Pork Buns 5/5 excellent soup, skin ... was very thin and did not break. The meat was flavourful and well seasoned Freshly Steamed Crab Buns with Pork 3/5 excellent soup, skin was thin and meat with crab meat was very basic in flavor and taste. Food is authentic and great quality, better than other Shanghai restaurants we’ve tried in the city. They’ve been operating for over 29 years, and there’s a reason for that! Prices are reasonable, and portions are large. The flavours of their soup bases are clear and the meat is high quality; ... it doesn’t leave you feeling heavy or greasy. I came here for dinner with my parents and family. Service was pretty good and so was the food, although according to my parents, Shanghai food generally tends to lean towards the sweeter side and that it wasn't necessarily the case here (I didn't know that!).
