I was buying my fish and chips here and the fish was always very good. The problem was with the chips. Sometimes they were great, other times they were dried up and very greasy, like they were old reused chip that had been around for awhile. I'd get home ... with the dinner and you could squeeze the grease out of the chips. Great fish. Kind of stingy with the tartar sauce but you can just ask for more. Other than that, place is great! Owners are very nice as well.

I hate giving small mom and pop establishments low ratings but unfortunately this place does not deserve more than 2 stars. It is clear from the onset that little attention has been put into maintaining its look, exposed wires and dirty floors were seen. From the look of the menu ... they cater to the highschool crowd, but I ordered a cod, poutine, and pop. The older man working there was very polite and nice but proceeded to take the cardboard fish from the freezer and fry it. Once I got my meal the poutines cheese was moldy with multiple blue parts. I returned it and refused the refund that they did offer. The cod was rock hard and the oil was clearly old, as it burnt the cod. Read more
