A new place which bowls you over - that's Cafe Landwer. It was a hot Monday with temperatures feeling like 40 C when I happened to come here for a meeting. And the moment I stepped in I was happily engulfed in the wonderful ambience and aroma of this lovely ... Cafe situated off Bathurst and Rutherford. Last Saturday, my five girlfriends and I dropped by this place and we were so happy with food and service. Sarah, who seemed to be the manager, took care of us. The portion size is good. But very busy location. Wait time to get your table is long. Cost almost $30 per person with food and coffee. The location is very cute so could be a good first date spot. Parking is another issue. Not enough for the kind of crowd ... in the location. But their shakshuka is a must try. Totally worth it. Read more
This place is great! Decent atmosphere, ok seats, good service and I love these flavours for brunch! And it’s busy! So many rich flavours here, get they’re before 12 so you can get the “breakfast for 2”, I didn’t get to try it but it looks great! Not a huge fan of hollandaise ... sauce but that spicy salmon Benedict on croissant was fantastic! The shakshukas are amazing! I had the merguez but the Id prob recommend the (beef kabab) Sinia. As a seasoned Italian the tomatoes sauce was great and fresh, this combination of egg, onion, parsley and tomato sauce is light and perfect for brunch The bread served is crazy fresh with amazing texture They’res so many other things I wanted to try (grilled sandwiches) with they’re unique flavour profiles, great menu, I don’t think you can go wrong here!
