Good Traditional Colombian restaurant . It is small and designed with souvenirs from Colombia which is really cool. The waitress was very nice and helpful. They did not have any vegetarian options on the menu so I asked if they could make something vegetarian and they said yes, the ... chef even came out and explained it to me before making the dish which I really appreciated. This place is also gluten-free friendly which is a plus. Majority of the bread is made with either plantain or pan (corn flour). For our drinks we had the lulu (little orange)and mora (blackberry) juice. They both tasted so fresh and natural compared to other places we have tried in Ottawa. For our appetizers we got the pantacon, pan de bono and the potatoes empanada and meat empanada. Our favorite was the pantacon (salty plantain with meat, avocado and salsa on top). I am not big on meat but I really enjoyed it on this appetizer, it was seasoned very well and was tender. For our main dishes we got the vegetarian dish with rice, beans, plantain and salad which was pretty good. We didn’t have room for dessert because the meal was so filling, but it seemed like they had some good options. Great larin food, Colombian style. Genuine tastes. I had bandeja paisa, a bean, porkskin, fried egg, beef and plantain platter. My wife had a whole fried red snapper. Such a unexpected surprise. Wow, i literally went to this place as a recommended restaurant to eat at tonight by Google maps because i do a lot of reviews. WOW, WOW AM I GLAD I Came HERE. Make reservations if you are a group. This tiny place sits 32 people. ... The menu is simple and delicious. I feel like I'm being served a high grade home cooked meal with love. Im blown away. Look, i don't know if the service is always like this but I could tell you that the service I had tonight was top-notch the waitresses absolutely respectful charming and attentive to our needs. Come alone come as a couple or come as a group and I'm sure you're going to enjoy your meal and experience here I absolutely love it the decor is very nice it does have a little Colombian feel to it it's worth a try don't pass it up.
