Seemed fairly busy for Wednesdayevening 7pm. Good sign. Waitressesvery attentive, frequently visiting us for orders drinks and food. Drinks were quick. Asked us upon food order if we wanted all together or at different times. Food took 20 minutes which we felt was fast. All dishes tasted good, portions were ... large enough and were what was represented on menu. Mocktails were also great. We ordered vegan chicken poutine, fried pickles, beet and goat cheese salad, veggie chicken tacos, aloha and placebo mocktails. Couldn'tfinish everything. I loved the food, service and decor, nothing bad to say about that. However, the air conditioning was on, and everyone around us had their jackets on (us included). And it was relatively cold outside! Like 16 degrees C. I asked the waitress whether the temperature could be adjusted, but I was ... told they were aware of the cold drafts, but that it was too hot in the kitchen to adjust anything. Truly what a shame! I used to love going to this restaurant...and was so happy to come back with my son. The service was absolutely terrible, took ages to order and get food and then took even longer to pay. The food was completely plain, nothing special at all. The ... drinks were OK. Found this gem in Google Maps and gave it a shot. New to Quebec and not familiar with the brand. Wonderful food, great staff, and generous portions. Would be glad to return! I ordered Putin Qubecoise (spelling?). Yum!
