This is the premiere, preferred East Side Mario’s location in London. Meals and portions are always done well, and the service has always been amazing. Staff are typically younger, but very high energy and attentive to customers needs. The last servers I had were really young guys ... but I was super impressed by how polite and how good they were. Was here yesterday for my birthday. Didn’t get any birthday things done. But, it was fine. Server was friendly. Place was pretty much empty when we got there. Recently renovated (last summer) nice big booths. Good lighting too and no ridiculously loud ... music playing- been to other east side Mario’s in other cities and they have their music so loud you can’t hear the people your with. As for the food my sister order the make your own with broccoli and button mushrooms. She didn’t finish it- took it with her. She loved especially the cute mushrooms. My mom ordered the make your own with meatballs. (My mom didn’t finish and took with her) My dad ordered the same thing as her but had shrimp added. Both of them had some over cooked meatballs in it and brought it to servers attention and she promptly removed the over cooked and went to the kitchen to get replacements. Parents were pleased by it . I ordered chicken parmigian- was huge but I ordered it knowing it would be. Ate half and took the rest for lunch. One of the best places for Italian Food in town. They serve lip smacking food with great service and the ambience of the restaurant is also appealing. Location is easy to be found and overall experience was really good. A place worth a revisit and deserves a strong recommendation.

They are so nice here. They found out that I had lost my parent just days earlier and tried to soften the blow with cheesecake and HUGS. Little Things make a difference.

I've never been blown away by the food here. It's average. Everything is smothered in butter and salt to make it tastey. I had the grilled cheese with pesto. It was ok. Came with side of either fries, salad, or soup for $15.
