Went to Sonia’s with a friend. Ordered fries and a cheese dog with a Pepsi. My friend ordered cheese burger snd onion rings and a Coke. The French fries were terrible!! Totally white not cooked. No flavour at all. The cheese on the hot dog and cheese burger was a ... runny cheese sauce awful! The onion rings were very greasy. I told the girl about the French fries and she said that’s how are French fries are. $7 for inedible fries!! It cost each of us $19 for horrible food. First and Last time going there. We have past Sonia’s several times and decided to stop in. My wife had a double cheese dog and I had a double burger. We shared an onion rings and fried mushrooms. The food was delicious we will be going back

My wife and I just got back from Sonia's Stand from lock port, we would always stop their for a hamburger and fries or pierogies and fries. The burgers were always good last year but this one trip today we ordered: 2 fish and chips, 16.95 each 2 cheese burgers, 6.95 1 pierogies ... 9.50 and a large fry. total bill was over $70.00 including 1 bottle water. there was nothing that tasted good it was all JUST passable witch was a shock to me and my wife. the burgers were rubber, and had no flavour except the cheese that had no real cheese flavour the fish tasted like it was frozen then nuked and than deep fried! and the tarter sauce just tasted old it was bad. we did not get the large fries they never put the fries in our order. the fish was so bad we chucked it and decided to eat the burgers, but that was just bad too but eatable as the wife and I were hungry. when I got home I phoned them told them about what had happened about the order of fries we never got in the order, they asked what we ordered and I told them, than I was told they don't have pierogies!!!! my wife was holding them in her hand when the person on the phone said that. they did not apologies or offer a anything for the missing fries.oh and we never received the receipt so could not prove we paid for the fries. we been going there for years today went so bad including the costumer service we will not be returning. we were regulars there. to bad all they had to do was at least acknowledge the fact they messed up and would address the problem. I drove past it and was thinking to myself...I have driven this way so many times, and I never stopped here before. Made a U-turn and went to order the homemade pumpkin soft serve ice cream. The service was great. Happy friendly staff. They tried to make the ice cream, but they had ... an issue with the ice cream machine. He asked me if I was ok with having it as a milkshake. I had no problem with his solution. Now I personally love apple pie. The homemade pumpkin milkshake was amazing. My wife 100% agreed with me. We were very happy we made that U-turn. Read more

first time trying Sonia’s yesterday, the wait for food was ok, only 10 minutes. The food was also OK fries are pretty bland and fish was good and HUGE but didn’t come with a lemon. The portion of the fish and chips are big but not worth the blandness, my mom ... ordered fries alone for $5 she got a small mcdonald’s serving of fries. wouldn’t eat here again. Not worth our drive. Seating is outside, only good for sunny non-windy days otherwise eat in your car. Read more
