Came at lunch time. No one was at the front, so we seated ourselves. We waited a long time before we saw a waitress and got menus. Once our food arrived, we never saw her again. My online pizza order went to Argyle street location instead of McCarthy, even though I specifically chose McCarthy. The pizzas were not good, no sauce, over cooked. No where near as good as McCarthy Blvd location which is always excellent. So disappointing.
I ordered a lasagna from this houston’s as I haven’t had it in a while and was craving it! I ate about half and it was so great, until I found what looks like a moldy piece of lasagna (photo attached). I was so disgusted, I called the restaurant to ... see if I could get my money back (since it was fairly expensive) and I was told the manager would be in soon and I left my name and number. An hour went by and I had not received a phone call so I called again and was told the manager would be in around 10pm and she would call me then (this was around 9:30pm). 10pm came and went and I received no phone call still. It is now the next day and no contact has come from the restaurant. When met with a serious issue like moldy food, I expect a restaurant to take it seriously, not ignore the problem. Read more
I would love to give this place 0 stars if I could. I ordered a meal and it was made wrong so I called, I got passed down through people and then had to re explain the story several times. After that no one apologized or tried to do anything ... about it until I asked for their names. Then I got an I’m sorry. Now I just got my replacement meal and guess what I got!
