St. John's based chain restaurant. Excellent staff who took care of me even when it's a fast food style place. Fish is fresh. Make sure to eat it with salt and vinegar 😀

Great spot for the classic food you know fish and chips they are so famous for says it right in the name 😋. Fries and cooked Great no soggy ones here . The staff are really friendly and wants ... to get their 40 hours of work instead of giving t0 sponsored people's thanks to the government. Time get given fair working hours right cause it's only the rigjt thing to do. Anyway I can go on about that but I won't. Cheers and don't work to hard now sweating in that kitchen skipper by . My first time at Ches's was a few weeks ago, visiting from Halifax NS. I absolutely loved it. Food and staff was fabulous. Compare to eating out in Halifax, the prices were very cheap. Thank you.

Poor customer service. I called at 5:30, ordered a single piece of fish and chips, was told my order would be ready in 20 minutes. I showed up to get it, 20 minutes later and continued to wait another 25 minutes in the restaurant for my order. It was not ... only me who was clearly annoyed. Other people were having issues with their orders and missing items. The whole place was chaotic and very unprofessional. My food wasn't even hot, and it was barely a handful of fries.
