Had my usual lamb....best in town...never had an issue with the food..a little more money...service can be slow but you aren't rushed either.

We went for dinner with a 6 month old gift certificate. They refused to honour it. We have eaten here many times , birthday dinners , anniversaries etc. The company that gave us the gift certificate is a very good customer to Constantine’s. We have always enjoyed good food and the ... nice atmosphere but feel strongly that the gift certificate should be honoured. Especially when it was only 6 months old. The reason given was that the restaurant had changed hands. It would have been far better for them to have honoured it and kept us as customers than to refuse us and lose not only our business but those we would have recommended it to. We will not be back. Went there Xmas eve for dinner. Very disappointed. No complimentary appetizer like before & prices are the same but portions are smaller. Not worth the money at all. Loved it when konstantine owned it but new owners now & they have cheaper out. Will not go back.

The worst restaurant, certainly not fine dining. Terrible tasteless food, sooooo slow, portions were offensively small and service /etiquette of our waitress was lower than what you would receive at a fast food take out resteraunt. A quarter of our table had menus while the rest of us waited ... 20 min to receive a menu. Waited another half hour to order and another 45 for the tasteless food to arrive. So that's 1.5 hrs to just get the food. Side note... we had a reservation and the place had maybe 6 or so tables of people. As we waited forever I asked the waitress for bread to hold us over and her response was "we don't have that". How can you not offer bread? Not a "I'm so sorry we do not have bread, can I offer you anything else". We receive our dinners and omg 2 baskets of bread come. So now we find bread? I eat my pasta penne with chicken that has maybe 3 small pieces of chicken coated with a runny sauce that has no flavour at all and tastes like from a jar. Even the pasta portion was so small. It was gone so fast and the service was so slow that I couldn't even think to send it back, pick something new or anything. Just ate it and yep still hungry. Tried to fill up on bread afterwards. Told the waitress I was not happy with the portion or the flavour and she did not even apologize. She said she will pass on the info and the sauce is the same as they always have used. So that justifies how tasteless and runny my rose sauce was? She asked if she can bring me more.... And eat more tasteless pasta and wait an hour. We were there for 3hrs and wasn't because we were having a great time with the food or service. 2 other people at our table had pasta, cleared their plates and was still hungry. I paid $18 for my plate with a total bill of $60 and the waitress just ignored the complaint from there. Someone else at our table received the wrong entree, ate it anyways so she wouldn't have to wait. We all couldn't wait to get out of there. You can tell this place is heading towards "out of business". I would recommend you take your customers feedback more seriously and send your employees for some etiquette and eloquence training. At the Kawartha Lakes Flying Club Christmas dinner/dance December 16, 2017, the meals (chicken or pork tenderloin) were tasty except the hot meals were served on plates that must have come out of a deep freezer. The meals cooled down in a hurry! Further some veggies were NOT cooked and were ... hard as a rock. We believe that all this was a one time occurrence and should not happen again.
