The Keg Steakhouse + Bar – Lethbridge - Lethbridge, Alberta

Edited thank you to The Keg Canada for reaching out and following up. Our information was passed to the manager of the Lethbridge restaurant. The customer service was superb and they went above and beyond. We did give them another try and customer service was excellent. I tried the ... pork ribs they were good and tender. My husband tried the steak and unfortunately the steak was about the same as the previous visit we had. We both like ours will done and he will eat it slightly pink and where the meat was pink it was tender and on the outside pieces where it was well done it was chewy. The previous conversation with the manager was the sirloin is a less expensive cut off meat and maybe we need to try another cut. Trying another cut would be fabulous if the price was not so high. When you pay $43 for a 12 oz steak I would think it would not be chewy. Perhaps if the keg is wanting everyone to have an amazing steak they need to remove the sirloin from the menu and not offer it or tell the people that the sirloin is not recommended for a well done steak. I'm not a huge fan of the keg but I have to admit we had a great time. The food tasted great and although it seemed expensive it was all very good quality. The service was out of this world. Our server was amazing and made the entire dinner ... so much better. She was kind, friendly and so patient. I had the sirloin Oscar which came out perfectly medium and tasted really good. I would have liked more asparagus but I really liked the scallops and hollandaise sauce. My hubby really liked the prime rib which he said had a nice beefy flavor. I come to the keg pretty frequently and always have a great experience. The service was great but the food wasn’t so great. I had got a salad and pulled out a long hair from inside so okay no big deal. They give me a new salad, then my main ... course comes and again another hair. As all 3 of our stakes were not cooked properly. I got blue rare and i understand it has a cool setting but it had almost tasted frozen inside. Amazing food!! Absolutely incredible service. My Mom uses a walker. They met us at the door. The lift ended up being broken. They helped her up the stairs and got her seated. When it was time to leave, the lift had been fixed, and they even helped her out to ... the car. Very impressed!! Read more

We were very impressed with the service, our waiter was very polite and attentive. Even other staff that weren't serving us directly, very nice crew.
