Cafe Verde - Lethbridge, Alberta

Over the past bit I’ve eaten at nearly every Mexican restaurant in southern Alberta and there are some really solid options. But I had to come back here 3 times, and bring a second opinion. My wife and I have been here for lunch before, tonight the whole family ordered from Mottes Cafe Verde for my wife's 50th Birthday dinner. The food was fantastic. Great Mexican place. The burritos are massive. A little on the bland side but still really good. Will defently be back when im in lethbridge

Absolutely incredible, unbelievably delicious mexican cuisine. Julio is a culinary master of this cuisine bringing authentic, rich flavors from his home country to Lethbridge. You may have trouble making a selection from his vast menu of delectable dishes but the Tacos Al Pastor, Birria Tacos, and Carne Asada are certainly ... staples that hit the mark every time. The daily made hot sauces and topings are the icing on the cake. Every hit sauce has a unique flavor that tingles the pallet with amazing flavor and just the right heat. It's always a struggle to find good Mexican food in Canada. I've been wanting to try this place for a while. The outside is unassuming, but once you walk in, the decor is fabulous. I love that they have photos on the wall of each item, and what I ... received was just like the photo (which is not always the case in some restaurants). The staff was super friendly, the food was great. It's my new favourite restaurant in Lethbridge. We wanted to let Julio know how much we enjoyed our meal, but he was gone when we finished. Funny enough, we ran into him at the mall right after, he remembered we had just been and stopped us so we had the opportunity. We will 100% be back soon. Read more
