I met a friend here and ordered pie and coffee. After 2.5 hours we were still visiting and the waitress was still pouring us coffee. We ordered some poutine and continued to visit. The manager and waitress were very accommodating and welcoming. We will definitely return.

Enjoyed my time here, but the young waitress was not very good at her work yet. I believe she's New. Other than that I enjoy their food 💝

The food was great. I ordered a variation on the Eggs Benedict standard, and it was well made, hot, and tasty. The server was very fast, thorough, and cheerful. I commented to my supper guest that, despite the surroundings not changing in a while, it still seemed ... very cheerful, warm, homey, clean, and well taken care of. Some dismiss Smitty's as being ordinary food, but there are many variations on stand-by favourites. Prices have not gone up much, and the food is always a good value for the money.
