Original Joe’s Restaurant & Bar - Lethbridge, Alberta

The food itself was the only decent part of our overall experience. We asked for the brussel sprouts without parmesan or cilantro, but it came with both still on. We ordered drinks right away. We waited over a half hour for them and had to ask for ... them. We had 3 kids that ordered kids meals. They brought two adult mains first and then half hour later brought one of the kids meals, followed by another 10 minutes later and finally the last one came out 10 minutes after we were all done. Yes, they took off the total cost for the last meal and discounted the rest of the bill but our experience was soured before that. The server Maia was the most pleasant and enjoyable experience I’ve ever had with customer service. This was not a one time experience with Maia, she is the greatest hospitality personality I have ever experienced and we have been and seen everything around this country and elsewhere. She is the ... main reason we choose Original Joes when it comes to an enjoyable time. We always hope she is on duty when we come and are so uplifted when we see her. Such a wonderful person and server. She should be manager in our eyes, she must attract and draw in so many people with her outgoing personality. We love her!! Read more

I went to buy poutine there, i checked the website first it was for $5.34..when i went in, it costed me over $14... I asked one of the staff there about huge price difference. She said it's a happy hour deal...means in sad hours they will charge you triple..when i ... checked Happy Hours menu..there is no poutine listed on there..so where the $14 came from?...ridiculous price for small portion... Been here couple times and always enjoy their “dry ribs” or “stuffed yorkies” this time I tried the “Nashville spicy” sandwich and it was good with a little bit of kick. Also their house salad and dressing vinaigrette never disappoints. Their beer selection on Tap has always something good
