Halo Bar & Bistro - Leduc, Alberta

Had a nice breakfast this morning at the hotel. Service was good, very pleasant waitress, and food for a hotel was surprisingly good. Very nice avocado and toast. The only surprise was the extra toast that came for an extra 6$. Still a solid 4 stars.

I had both breakfast and room service at HALO while staying at the Marriott Renaissance and was very impressed. I’d highly recommend the devonian garden omelette with goat cheese, absolutely delicious, comes with a side of fresh fruit. Had dinner here. The food was good and the kitchen was fast. The servers are slow and I actually had to go find a server at the start even though I was sitting right by the bar. Halo is a beautiful secret for last minute upscale, hip and modern dining. It's a lesser known establishment for contemporary dishes. Their menu is diverse and meat and vegetarian options with a fusion spin. The costs are high but the food and space match the price points. It's a very modern ... futuristic space in the hotel at the airport so I'm guessing a lot of transient traffic. It's also far for Edmontonians to get food but if you're looking for a special dining experience, a change of pace or something new, check it out. Read more
