Food was amazing. Ordered pick up and it was right on time. No waiting. Used the washroom while I waited and it was very well kept and clean . Food was fresh and the chicken was absolutely amazing. Had a great experience tonight. I usually stick to my "usual" when going to Swiss Chalet, but I wanted to try their new crispy chicken. Our server was great. I misread a bit of the menu and he fixed my oops no questions asked. Everything I ... asked for came quickly and fresh and the right temperature. The food was excellent and the price was great. Where have all the good staff gone? Slow day. Slow service. Food was good. Used to be a nice place. Now I doubt we'll return unless we have time for a two hour meal. Very sad. We used to love coming to Swiss chalet. The staff was efficient, polite, prompt.
Would have rated it no more than 2 stars if we were charged for our drinks , including coffee that was nowhere fresh enough to be served . Took too long for a server to come to our table and once we ordered, much took long for our dinners to arrive ... considering there were only 3 other tables on our side of the restaurant and we were the last ones to order. Hate to see how long it would be to get our food if the place was actually busy. In most Swiss Chalets, I usually get my dinner within 15 minutes unless it is very busy. Even with 2 servers on, ours hardly came by. Should have gone to the 23rd Ave store in Edmonton where service is much better. At least, our food was good and they were generous with the fries.
