A&W - Leduc, Alberta

Unfortunately breakfast came with burnt toast and bacon and egger English muf fins came burnt on the edges. Went back they offered to remake them but we were no longer had an appetite. They reassured us they would replace them next time we were in.

I've been attending this location for several years for both drive-thru and sit-down. Its doesnt seem to matter the meal or time of day, the workers are always seemingly rushed and slightly rude and I have never had my meal prepared correctly or with any sort of consistency or quality ... through the years. One example, the Onion rings are either super old and cold, over seasoned, not seasoned at all or, there's maybe 5 in the bag and one of the above, and they've never been done well/correctly even once... that's just one example of a food item... I hate coming here and I try to suggest otherwise when people want to go, it always ends with anyone I go with disappointed once they receive their food, whatever it may be that they've ordered. First time through the drive through they got the order wrong. They told me they would make it up to me the next time I come to the restaurant. Okay, so I came with my family today, spent $60. They only replaced the cost of the burger, not the meal ... they ruined the first time. You ask for a Momma burger with cheese and bacon... I have one question, where's the bacon? One tiny strip of bacon! Really? This is what restaurants are now resorting to? You have the audacity to raise the prices for this garbage you call food! Shameful!!!! I get things are costing more, what I don't understand is how or why you you insist on disappointing the only thing that keeps you in business? Your customers! Thank you for helping me to see that A and W is a giant rip off and sealing your fate for us as a family to stop supporting a corporation that is like every other! It's time to stop supporting corporations that do not respect their customers! As for your survey, we spent far too much for a a less than desirable lunch! Nothing appealing about being ripped off! It is just not worth eating at restaurants like this A and W and has proven to customers to spend their hard earned money where they are appreciated! Read more

Sunday, June 2, 5pm. still believe in service with a smile and some assemblance of politeness. Here there was none. Chirpy and short, the service was very unfriendly. It doesn’t hurt to say hello, thank you, how are you, enjoy your meal. Now this is the new norm, I know and ... it’s not why the one star, but it doesn’t help. We preferred two lettuce wrapped teen burgers, two onion rings and one coke from the drive through. When the very rude man handed me the coke, it had pop all over the side and was dripping into my new truck. I had a Kleenex t in my glovebox so we wiped it up, cleaned the sides of the cup and dried my hands. He didn’t apologize or anything of course because he didn’t care. Like, at all. This became more obvious when he thrust the bag of food into my hand and we drove away thinking about how rude he was. I pulled over in the parking lot and grabbed the side of the bag of my lettuce wrapped burger. The paper was ripped and the burger spilled all over the inside of the bag. Well done again guys. I cleaned it up as best I could and went for a napkin in the bag to clean my hands and no napkin. Winning huh? I handed the extremely pathetic other lettuce wrapped tenn burger to my wife. It had two smaller pieces of lettuce on one side and a thick, but small “chunk” of lettuce on the other. And a raw peice of bacon. It was a mess to eat as she had to eat it out of the bag. We laughed at how ridiculous this was. As I was finished my teen salad burger, we drove away and I started on the onion rings. Overcooked in old oil they were the worst I've EVER had. A mushy, greasy doughy mess. I would drive down the street for something better from someone who cares. Owners, get into and care about your restaurant! Read more

Gluten Free Options. Subbed extra tomatoes and hashbrowns for the toast in the All Canadian Breakfast. Stopped her for breakfast. Everything you expect from an A&W for breakfast, no complaints there. Their woman's washroom, though, was FREEZING, and it wasn't really cold at 9 am on 21DEC2023. It is not like ... it was -30C outside, but i swear I could see my breath when I washed my hands.
