The pogue- Irish pub - Leamington, Ontario

This place was really awesome. We went in expecting typical pub fare and atmosphere but were pleasantly surprised that it was much better than anticipated. Upscale food at a great price and our server, Crystal, was super informative and nice. We had a fantastic meal at the Pogue tonight! Drove from Chatham to try it out and I wasn’t disappointed. The pulled pork was delicious. My table had seafood chowder which earned rave reviews. We also ordered perch dinners and one of us had wild boar. Worth the drive for a ... nice meal in a cute restaurant. Quiet, intimate and the right atmosphere. Music not so loud that one can’t hear one’s companions talking. Will definitely be back! Read more

Ordered the lunch special (grilled caramelized onions and gruyere?) . Everything was super tasty (get curry dip for your fries!) Can't wait to go back for dinner!

This place is easily going to be my go-to place for fresh food, great drinks, friendly service and a great atmosphere. Had their curry chicken. Good flavor and a pint of Guinness and creme brûlée.
