Reviews for Ceramic Café Studio in Laval, Quebec
This place is a fantastic spot for creative outings, especially for families and friends looking to dive into some arts and crafts. Ceramic Café offers a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere where me and my daughter, along with friends, could choose from a wide variety of ceramic pieces to paint. The ... café aspect adds a lovely twist, allowing guests to sip on some coffee or enjoy snacks while painting. The staff was friendly and helpful, which can make the experience even more enjoyable, especially with kids trying this for the first time. It was a bit crowded, so the noise level might be something to consider if you're looking for a quieter experience. The pricing might feel a bit on the higher side once you add up the cost of the ceramics plus the studio fees, but the unique experience and the joy of creating something beautiful generally balance it out. Overall, Ceramic Café in Laval was the perfect creative retreat for our group, combining the fun of crafting with the ease of having cafe amenities at your fingertips. It's definitely a place to make some colorful memories! Read more
Nestled in the heart of Laval lies a haven of creativity and joy, the Ceramic Cafe, where artistic dreams come to life one brushstroke at a time. The staff at the Ceramic Cafe were instrumental in making our visit truly exceptional. Their genuine enthusiasm and helpfulness guided my daughters through the process of selecting the perfect ceramic pieces and choosing the vibrant colors that would bring their artistic visions to life. Their patience and encouragement fostered an environment where creativity knew no bounds. As my daughters delved into their artistic endeavors, I couldn't help but marvel at their ingenuity and flair. With each stroke of the brush, they transformed plain ceramic pieces into vibrant works of art, each reflecting their unique personalities and imaginations. It was a joyous sight to behold, witnessing their creativity flourish in an environment that nurtured and celebrated their artistic expression. The amenities offered at the Ceramic Cafe further enhanced our experience. The option to indulge in sandwiches, coffee, and juices provided a delightful interlude between painting sessions, allowing us to refuel and recharge before diving back into our artistic endeavors. The thoughtfulness of these offerings added an extra layer of comfort and enjoyment to our visit. But beyond the ceramic painting and delectable refreshments, what truly made our experience at the Ceramic Cafe unforgettable was the sense of connection and bonding that permeated throughout. As we sat side by side, engrossed in our creative pursuits, laughter filled the air, creating memories that will be cherished for years to come. It was a precious moment of togetherness, a reminder of the beauty of shared experiences and the magic of nurturing creativity. In conclusion, our visit to the Ceramic Cafe in Laval was magical. It was my first time here, and I have never painted ceramics before. So I would say it is very beginner friendly, but I had to take myself through the whole process. You are seated and fill out a form with your name and number. Then when that is done, ... walk up stairs and choose what you want to paint. Each item is labeled with a price. Bring it back to your table and a waitress will mark down which ceramics you chose and explain a bit how it goes and take the drink or food order. Your time starts now. They charge a few dollars for each hour you are painting. I painted 2 items in 2-3 hours and had a London fog tea. The whole experience cost about 50$ and was nice. You are asked to return in 10 days to pick up the ceramic items. They hold the item for 2 months, and will not call. I will update my review when I pick up my ceramics. I could have used a bit more guidance with what to do with my paints, or how to use the stickers or stencils they have available. But it's not an art class, it's a Cafe. I had a good time solo and saw a lot of groups and a few couples. Read more
I came with my daughter and her friend to celebrate their birthday. It's a really nice place with lots of options of ceramics to paint. I got a voucher on Tuango for 10$ for 2 people for studio time since I can get expensive with buying the piece, the studio ... time, and food. It's a nice place to have a coffee and just relax and paint. Read more
It was my first time here. I had a really good time here painting my ceramic with my 10 year old & some friends, spent like 4 1/2 hours here & it was very relaxing. Picked up our ceramics a week later, after 5pm as they requested & we absolutely ... LOVED our finished pieces. I highly recommend trying this place out. I'll definitely be back soon! Read more
