Despite multiple attempts by the cook to prepare the steak correctly, it took three tries to get it right. While the final result was satisfactory, achieving a blue steak should not have been such a challenge. The service, however, was commendable. The restaurant offered to cover our drinks and provided a ... complimentary plate of chips while we waited for the correct steak. However, despite being told all drinks would be covered, only a part of our drinks were paid for – specifically, the wine ordered for the steak, not the cocktails. The staff's visible disappointment matched our own frustration with the situation. Although the third attempt had the right level of doneness, the quality of the steak itself was still below expectations.
