Spent the New Year's Eve there... was excellent! The food, the atmosphere, the staff..

Went here a few times, once for a bachelorette and once for a xmas party! Sat on the side of the bar! Food was great and over all others said was good as well! Service was good, could use a little more checking in on us but overall good! ... Atmosphere was great! In the evening on the bar side there was a DJ. Didn't have too much space to dance but you could if you really wanted to. But did make for a fun atmosphere! Danny the owner (I believe) or manager, was nice enough to come around and check on us! Really great experience at Houston's for New Year's Eve. Had the Macreuse au Brie which was served on a bed of mashed potatoes and mushrooms. It was absolutely delicious. I was impressed. The ambiance for new years was excellent with a dj and a dance floor to celebrate. My only ... negative comment is about the washrooms. Stall 1 had dried vomit all over the door on the inside of the stall. The second stall had a non-functional toilet. The third stall was out of order. Very interesting place to visit. Best timing to go is late afternoon. Lake sure to order their speciality ribs! It is delicious. Entree and salads and are small. Waitresses are friendly but not everyone who works there is. If you are a meat lover, go and try this place. Tons ... of parking in front it.
