Madisons New York Grill & Bar - Laval, Montreal, Quebec

We came to this restaurant randomly, but we were absolutely satisfied with delicious food, serving and inside space of the restaurant. We had dishes Seafood Linguini and Baby Back Ribs with Tigera Shrimps. I haven’t eaten such a tender and delicious Ribs in my life. Thank you for exemplary service!

It was nice. The food is saltier than I'm used to but overall it was enjoyable! The drinks are hit or miss from what I could tell; the strawberry daiquiri and tequila fiesta are both tasty, the old fashioned is a bit heavier on the bitters but is still enjoyable. As expected from Madison's. Classic menu selection with good quality to price ratio. The staff is nice and attentive. Nice spot to sit down and spend a good time.

This was my first time here and I came with a big group for a birthday so that could affect my experience but if i had to describe it, it wasn't good but wasn't bad either. The food was okay, we had nachos and calamari that we shared for appetizers and ... for my main meal i had the filet mignon with peppercorn sauce accompanied with salmon tartare, mashed potatoes and vegetables. -The nachos were good. -The calamari was good but everyone that had some felt sick by the end of the night. -The filet mignon was ok not a lot of flavor and even with the peppercorn sauce it was still ok. -The salmon tartare was good and fresh, maybe a little more seasoning but overall I'd have it again. -The mashed potatoes were a little bland to my taste but was good with the peppercorn sauce. For the service, they had multiple big groups that night so it could effect this but for our group we were over 20 and had only one server. They never came to check for water or that everyone had, only at the end did we get more after asking, we had drinks (the drinks were good) in the beginning as well but they never came back to ask if we wanted more. I never had a set of utensils and had to grab from another table (this could be a mix up with a big group). The server was nice and handled multiple groups hence why I can't blame her but they could have added more servers, she had two big groups in all that so of course some things will be missing. Love this restaurant. The staff is amazing and so is the food. Nice portions and a beautiful atmosphere. They have a private upstairs area that seat 30-55 ppl. I always feel like I’m with family when I eat here. The BEST IN MONTREAL & LAVAL surrounding area.. A MUST
