Pappa Leo’s Pizza - Langley, British Columbia

Horrible pizza. I ordered a Spicy Capicolli and added pineapple and it was big awful, not little awful but big awful. The banana peppers were Woody, like tree bark woody. The pineapples were completely void of any taste or moisture, All the meats tasted and looked like they were forgotten ... out for a couple days to dry out and the tasted reflected that also, the sauce was so thin I could barely taste it. The people at the store were pleasant and got me in and out quickly but I wish I had tasted it before I left. I've had school cafeteria pizza that I'd rank as a 1 star and this is much much lower. 1st- the medium is sooo small for the price. This place wasn’t my first choice (they were closed). Compared to other spots the sizing is whack. 2nd- upon trying it- so damn flavourless and bland. Expectations were high based on reviews. Pizza's tasted great and were well made but the toppings were incorrect. Good customer service for the mistake too. I will be back.

So I ordered my usually veggies with extra cheese and YES I asked it be cooked longer! Crust was great tasting! A tad on the chewy side but in a good way, if that makes sense. Sauce was good. A decent amount of toppings, And when I asked extra cheese there was definitely ... "more than the usual amount" of cheese, but "extra"? Meh . could been just a little more. Just moved in the area and now happen to live close to one of the Great pizzerias in BC. When calling in my order I asked if their deluxe pepperoni was made like the photos; normal-sized pepperoni on TOP of the cheese. When this was confirmed, I was already sold. A ... bit pricey, but these guys know exactly what they’re doing (see below pic). Sauce, cheese, topping, and crust ratio are all perfect (and the quality of ingredients are all better than the last).
