Pasta Polo & Brick Oven Pizza - Langley, British Columbia

I usually don’t do review google reviews but felt I wanted to put this one out. We went to this place sign high expectations based on reading other reviews. I am big fan of lasagna and margarita pizza and ordered these two items. However, I was really disappointed in both ... items. The pizza had big chunks of tomato on it (like a salad) and was very bland. Same with lasagna which tasted bland and there was no sauce or cheese in between the layers and just on top!! New favourite Italian restaurant unlocked! Rarely do I find a place these days where everything on the menu is enticing. Will definitely have to come back more often. We had our meal in the covered patio, which was super comfy, lots of natural light coming in without any pesky wind or ... weather. Service was fast and friendly, and the pricetag for two well-portioned meals was surprisingly reasonable. We missed out on that hedgehog dessert today, but we will be coming back for that, cause it sounds delicious and reminds me of those cute kids menu ice cream bowls I used to have at the Italian ice cream parlors in Germany. If anyone is looking to host an event for about 30-40 people, I would highly recommend reserving the patio at Pasta Polo, across from Willowbrook. The owner Jamal was a delight to work with, the staff were so friendly, and the food was amazing! Excellent food and super quick service. Everything about this place makes it a hidden gem and a pleasant find in Langley. A must visit for authentic, fresh and yummiest Italian food. Keep some space for their Tiramsu n speciality coffee too.
