Our recent visit to Chaberton Estate Winery was incredibly disappointing! I had the worst experience. Upon arrival, me and my friend were greeted warmly, but our experience quickly soured. We requested a tasting flight to sample their wines, only to be told that they were about to close, when the ... exact time of our arrival was 5:15pm knowing that they close at 6:00pm. We then asked if we could speak to the manager of the place. She proceeded to inform us that they could not serve us because it was "too windy" outside and repeated that they were closing. This excuse seemed dubious, as the weather was mild and not particularly windy. The real disappointment came when we later discovered that other guests were being served without any issue. It became evident that we were being misled, which left us feeling disrespected and unwelcome. As someone who values transparency and professionalism in the wine industry, I was particularly disappointed by the missed opportunity for both parties. Unfortunately, due to their dismissive attitude and dishonesty, I cannot recommend Chaberton Estate Winery to fellow wine enthusiasts or industry professionals. It's a shame that such a beautiful location and potentially great wines are overshadowed by poor customer service and missed opportunities. If you value honesty and fair treatment as a customer or professional, I suggest looking elsewhere for your winery experience in Langley. After a letdown at Chaberton Winery, my friend and I decided to try another winery nearby Township 7 Vineyards and Winery, and what a difference it was! At this new place, they welcomed us warmly and served us without any fuss. As professionals from Italy, we were pleasantly surprised by their openness and eagerness to share their wines. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely interested in discussing their wines and processes. This positive experience was a complete contrast to our earlier visit at Chaberton Winery, where we felt unwelcome and were turned away for what seemed like a weak excuse. The difference in service really shows how important good customer care is in the wine business. I highly recommend Township 7 Vineyards and Winery to anyone looking for a great winery experience in Langley. Beautiful winery, we came on for a wine tasting. The staff was great and super friendly. The wines are delicious! They also have a great menu for appetizers or lunch!

I came here for a wine tasting during a wine tasting birthday party and this was one of our stops. They put our group in the big wine tasting private room. Our server/host was very knowledgeable and did a great job of leading us through all the different wines. Located in Langley in the Lower Mainland. This little gem is a great way to do some wine tasting that is not too far from Vancouver. They do offer snacks like cheese, humus and crackers at very reasonable prices to accompany your wine. You can purchase a bottle and ... drink it outside at a picnic table.
