Jim’s Pizzeria - Langley, British Columbia

Ordered a couple mediums tonight for delivery. Called during a busy time so expected a bit of a wait for delivery, but it took an hour and 20 minutes to get my pizza. That's just too long. We order here once in a while because we find the pizza pretty ... good, but it's more expensive than most places, so we don't do it often. Tonight though, will be our last time. We ordered one Jim's special and one 3 topping....bacon, pineapple and green pepper, so nothing too crazy. The driver finally shows up, is very nice and friendly, but the bill comes to $47! Absolutely crazy to charge that much for 2 medium pizzas. For $10 more, we could have gone to the Keg for a much better meal. With tip, we pay over $50 for 2 average pizzas. There was no online menu so I went in to the store. I asked to see the menu, he told me the prices had changed. I asked him to give me an update on the prices. I ordered a pizza there thinking I’d wait 10-15 (the usual everywhere else) and grab ... it and go. I was quoted 35 min so I ordered and asked them to deliver. I had mentioned that I prefer the pizza lightly done. He said no problem. The pizza showed up and it was over cooked. Aside from that the dough is so heavy. After two slices I felt like a blimp and I can eat a lot. Btw, the price was $33 for a simple large pizza. Kind of ridiculous if you ask me. I personally won’t be ordering again. I write to advise those that read the “best pizza in Langley” lists, don’t believe the hype. It’s not worth it. I’m hoping this review saves at least one person from the experience I’ve had today. Also, the debit charge I received said I paid to “Maidstone Pizza” not Jim’s. I don’t know what kind of thing they got running but it’s very odd. Read more

Usually I love cheese but this pizza makes me want cheese to never touch my lips again. There is SO much cheese, it’s such a thick layer and the ham is LAYERED under the cheese. The pizza is so salty, I have to take half of the ham out in ... order to not feel gross as well as taking some cheese off. When i eat it, it tastes like it’s 30% cheese, 30% ham, 30% pizza crust and 10% topping. Read more

I ate large pizzas here every 2 weeks. Didn't mind paying 27$ for a quality pizza. They did leave much room for gratuity for the delivery driver what do they expect me to pay him 35$ for a pizza??? Now they increased the price to 33$ for the ... pizza I'm expected to pay 40 to the driver? No thanks won't call here ever again. Take my 35$ and get a roast lamb dinner from Aaron's in Cloverdale. Walked in. Friendly staff. Great selection. Had the meat lovers. Could only eat half. Gave slices to friends at the pub. Unanimously highly praised and appreciated by all. Best pizza I have ever had in British Colombia. I will return as often ... as I can. It may cost a little more, but it's worth it. Read more
