Chili House Restaurant - Langley, British Columbia

I'm a regular customer of Chilli House Restaurant for 7 years already. I've never encountered bad service except once, which was two days ago. This waiter (chinese girl) was wearing specs and a little bit of blonde hair. Without a smile and lazy body language, she asked me how many people I ... wanted for the table. After that, she placed the menu book without making eye contact and didn't talk at all. I have tried avoiding this waiter and purposely called other waiters for taking orders. While i was eating, this lazy and unfriendly waiter came to clear two empty plates, including soup cup. She took my cup without asking whether I'm done or not. The fact that I still have a lot of soup in my big bowl. Even though I'm mad, I still said thank you after she took my plates, but she didn't acknowledge me at all. What's wrong with her? If she doesn't want to work and see customers every day, she has a choice to find another job. Even though i am still mad, I still give all 5 stars for this review because Chilli House is always my one of favourite restaurant. The food quality was extremely poor. We ordered rice, chicken, chow mein, and an appetizer, but every dish was disappointing. The excessive use of soy sauce made all the dishes overly dark and gave them a uniform, unappetizing taste. I will not be returning to this restaurant.

Gave these a try the other day and was very happy with the results. The ginger beef alone is worth the visit!

The worst place to have fusion food. I ordered Chicken Noodles, Veg Manchurian and Spring Rolls. The spring rolls were very oily and the outer layer was very thin. It is the worst spring rolls I have ever eaten. I got veg noodles (the server didn’t give me correct order) and veg Manchurian. ... When the server asked about the food I couldn’t lie and said the food is bad plus I got the wrong order. The server started arguing and corrected me that I ordered veg noodles. The noodles were very dry and didn’t taste good. The Manchurian balls were not dipped in the sauce properly, half of the balls were dry. The server didn’t even offer to correct the order or apologize. When I asked for the bill, I was expecting that the restaurant will not charge for the noodles but they charged for the full meal. We tried the following :- Hot & sour chicken soup Egg fried rice with green onions Chicken fried noodles Gobhi manchurian Food portions were good food tasted fresh and both food quantity and quality were pretty good. Spice level was acceptable Overall very nice experience, recommend for indo Chinese taste
