I am from Europe and this is a great restaurant to dine at for foreigners. The staff is super accommodating and make it really easy to have a great experience. The past experiences I have had at bars in Europe are nothing compared to Earls. Alexis provides the best service. ... She easily understands others needs and always exceeds expectations. I recently visited the Langley location and was quite impressed with the professionalism and attentiveness of the young staff. It’s really great to see such enthusiasm and eagerness to provide the best food and service. The staff's dedication to ensuring a pleasant dining experience was evident from the moment I walked ... in. They were friendly, efficient, and always ready to help, making my visit truly enjoyable. My reviews are always based on personal experience and the experiences of those accompanying me. The restaurant is aesthetically pleasing and well-maintained, both inside and outside. The service, however, was mediocre. There was minimal attention from the staff, with infrequent checks to see if we needed water or drinks, which was ... disappointing. Despite sitting on the patio where the temperature dropped, our server never turned on the heat lamps. Regarding the food and drinks, Earls is known for its pricey offerings. While I enjoyed the ribs and cocktails, I felt the food portions were insufficient given the high prices. The cocktails, in my opinion, were overpriced. The reason for my two-star rating is the presence of several rats on the patio, including on the seats and tables. This significantly detracted from the dining experience. Disappointing Customer Service Experience at Earls Kitchen + Bar in Langley As a regular customer of Earls Kitchen + Bar at the White Rock location, I was deeply disappointed by my recent visit to the Langley branch. Upon arrival, I experienced a lack of acknowledgment from the staff, despite being clearly visible ... and waiting to be seated. The indifference and lack of greeting from the employees were concerning, especially given my previous positive experiences at other locations. When I was finally seated by a seemingly disinterested staff member, I hoped for a better experience, but unfortunately, it only went downhill from there. Despite requesting that my order be served sequentially, all the dishes arrived at once, disrupting the flow of the meal. Additionally, the quality of the food did not meet the standards I had come to expect from Earls. However, the most disappointing aspect of the visit was the attitude and behavior of the staff member who delivered the food. Not only did she fail to provide any information about the dishes, but her demeanor was also dismissive and unprofessional. As someone with over a decade of experience in management positions within the hospitality industry, I was appalled by the lack of professionalism and customer care demonstrated by the staff at Earls Kitchen + Bar in Langley. It is unacceptable for any establishment to allow such behavior towards customers, regardless of their background or mood. Service: we entered earls around 9:40 pm so the restaurant was not busy. We were standing at the front for 5 mins waiting for ANYONE to seat us. In the end it looked like the manager who finally gave us a table. After sitting, again took a while for a server ... to greet us or even offer water.. so wasn’t in the greatest mood to start with. Food: We ordered the spicy tuna sushi taco , angry chicken lettuce wraps and saltypep chicken wings. The kitchen needs to know how to season properly .. they over sauced the chicken wraps and salted the wings way too much. My tongue was getting numb from the extra sodium. The cherry on top was when they served us old rotten lettuce :D atleast the sushi tacos were good, not great. We finished our food … and just sat there with dirty plates infront of us. Again waiting for the server to notice us or to start clearing out our plates. We just wanted our bill at this point and leave. Seemed like not being noticed was the theme of the night 👻 Took some photos and asked the server to show the kitchen about the lettuce. Earls kindly took it off of the bill.
