First time here after walking by on multiple occasions. Great location, and the outdoor space is amazing. The food was delicious as well. Ordered the gnocchi, which states on the menu comes with chicken. Food arrived, and there was no chicken to be found. Staff did not ... come around to ask how the "first few bites" were which is generally customary. Kept eating until I could get the attention of another server. Pointed out the chicken was missing. They offered to fire it but having done majority of my meal now plus the cooking time in addition, I declined. Server said she would speak with manager to see what could be done. Very much appreciate that. Food was delicious despite the mishap and quite filling. Server comes around asking about dessert and since we were full we declined. I did opt for a cup of drip coffee. Get the bill and I see full charge for our meal. I ask Server if manager opted to not do anything about the mishap. Response is "well we charged you for the gnocchi minus the chicken".... well of course, why would I pay for chicken that isn't there? "And I didn't charge you for the coffee." Thanks for the drip. As a consumer, a better gesture may have been, hey, we discounted the gnocchi, or we took care of the glass of wine or the cocktail..... A small gesture would've ensured a return visit. Opportunity lost. Read more
It was a warm Saturday afternoon so we decided to get some shade under an umbrella at Beatniks Bistro. We were greeted by a friendly hostess who was also responsible for clearing and cleaning the patio tables. My wife and I were thinking since it was fairly busy the restaurant ... should have had someone host and someone else clean and set the tables. Fortunately, the wait wasn’t too bad. Once we were seated we ordered our drinks. Somehow my wife was given a virgin Peaches cocktail instead of a regular Peaches cocktail. I was wondering why my wife was not turning red. Later the bill showed me a nonalcoholic drink was entered. It tasted yummy though. My IPA was cold and refreshing. The deep fried pickles were good. It had a nicely seasoned crispy batter. The dipping sauce was just ok. Personally a dill sauce would have been better. The Artisan salad was fresh and crisp. The amount of dressing perfect. The salmon burger was good and came with nicely seasoned fries. Overall it was a good dining experience and we would dine there again. Read more
Patio dining! Very cool venue in the ❤️ of Ft Langley. Hubster had the seafood linguine (see pic). It was fresh and delicious and good value. Lots of seafood. I had the beef carpaccio and it was yummy and a large serving for an appetizer (see pic). We lived ... it. Our servers were casual and easy going. We will definitely return. The outdoor patio is lovely. Read more
We were looking for a mid-week dinner treat and decided to go here as it’s been a while. The service was great and the food did not disappoint our taste buds, nor our scents. Everything smelled and tasted amazing! My husband had the Short Rib and I had their halibut. ... Their wine selection is also very good!. We thoroughly enjoyed a lovely bottle of Shiraz with their $10 off Wednesday discount, an unexpected bonus :) Read more
Summer time and sips of wine! Amazing location, new menu and quaint little outdoor patio. They don’t take reservations so do plan to wait. A romantic spot for couples, family oriented or groups welcome! Currently loving the beef dip, cobb salad, beef burger and fried chicken sandwich. Purple haze is ... the perfect patio drink on a hot summer day! Enjoy and thank me later as you won’t regret this little stop along the Fort Langley way! Read more
