Awesome customer service from a younger Asian lady yesterday when I came in on Friday. Was lining up and asked me if I needed help even before I got to the counter. Was coming in to get a bag for the 2 boxes of 24 days of tea ... that I got for my coworkers. The guildford store told me they couldn't give me an extra bag and go to the mall to get it gift wrapped. I didn't need it gift wrapped as I want to treat my coworkers equally and for both gift to look the same. Langley person went above and beyond and offered 2 bags along with tissue which wasn't offer at guildford. Working in service industry myself, that was excellent service unexpected! A very good tea venue for we tea connoisseurs, albeit very expensive and thus degrading value for their products. I would suggest Murchie's Tea and Coffee for those in search of better value and greater selection of rarer teas. But please decide for yourself and stop in. After ... all, there is a very good and satisfying feeling in drinking your favorite cup. Read more

Went in for the Frequent Steeper Party and was pleasantly surprised at all of the new items and teas that are available. Added to all of the teas is about 6-8 different matcha flavors, there really is something for everyone. The service is always friendly and upbeat, I've never ... had an unhelpful or unhappy David's Employee. The employees are always willing to talk tea and pull down anything and everything from the tea wall to let you smell. There is always free samples and the tea of the day is reasonably priced if you have trouble selecting a tea off the wall. David's offers several different milk and sweetener selections if you are having a brewed or tea latte as well as sizing options for take home purchases (pictures below). Overall, David's is a really pleasant place to browse around for teas, tea related merchandise and tea type candies. Read more

My wife loves some of the green teas from here - Toasted Walnut is her favorite. Neither of us really like herbal teas, but they have a big selection of those if you're into that kind of thing. The staff are friendly enough, but mostly I wouldn't trust their recommendations. ... When I ask to see their more savory teas they bring out some of the sweetest ones I've ever smelled - but they're always willing to accommodate, so I don't really hold it against them. Read more
